Veintiséis

Veintiséis is a series of 8 triptychs that portrays the intimate encounter of a couple through photographs sharing a cohesive color palette, where the texture of skin and materials fades, emphasizing closeness.

The 24 images in the series explore the body, shadows, emptiness, intersections, and what is so near it cannot be captured in detail. Their role is purely that of a naturalistic observer—without imposing any interpretation—drawing subtly on Pierson, to depict the relationship not through subjects presenting themselves bluntly to the viewer, but in a sensual and serene way.

This is not about striking or explicit imagery; it is about what the experience means to the creator, to the one who exposes themselves to the other, leaving their essence imprinted in a frozen moment that allows the experience to be relived.
